Hello! I'm Sara. I'm glad you're here. I'm a mama to three crazy and lovable kids, and a wife to Kaili, my cyclist-fisherman-business-advisor husband (who inspires us to go on family adventures, mostly of the outdoor variety). I'm a beach girl at heart, but we've built our lives in the mountains: Colorado, a landlocked, yet spectacularly beautiful state. I work full-time as an educator; I love working with teenagers and learning more about their brain development and how to serve them best. I love photography, traveling with my crew, cooking, hanging with my girlfriends (this doesn't happen nearly enough), and the (very) occasional yoga class. Oh and coffee (can't survive without that).
I love capturing new Colorado families in the Denver area. I do in-home newborn, maternity, and motherhood photography sessions.
My motherhood blog is a compilation of my thoughts on life and motherhood, and my quest to be more present, intentional, and mindful. The name comes from the well known quote about parenthood by Gretchen Rubin, "The days are long but the years are short," which I feel so encapsulates this crazy adventure we're on. Being a mom may be the hardest, and simultaneously the most rewarding, job on the planet. I hope you enjoy reading and I look forward to connecting with you. Grab your coffee (or wine), and stay a while!
